The turfRad Moisture Sensor is the scientific-grade “engine” of the turfRad mapping system. Engineered in Switzerland, this is a non-contact, passive radiometer that accurately measures soil moisture by listening to the earth’s natural energy. It operates in the protected 1400-1427 MHz L-band, capturing highly-accurate, root-zone moisture data without interference.
